Portia's Ring

When we all returned to Belmont, Portia, Nerissa, Gratiano, Antonio, and I. The 2 beautiful and sweet bride discovered that Gratiano and I had given away our rings. Portia was outraged, she couldn't believe that i had been so ignorant to give away the one thing that symbolize her, her love, and all her worldly possessions. She could not even be comforted by my dear friend Gratiano, who did his best to contain her. We pleaded for there forgiveness, and at this, they returned the rings back to us. I love Portia so much, and i don't know what i would ever do without her by my side.

The 3 Caskets

I was faced with the hardest decision of my life today. Out of 3 possible chooses, gold silver, or lead, i never believe i would choose right. Even though i was wishing with all the love in my heart i would. For the decision i made that day affected the rest of my life, for the better or worse. Portia was doubtful that i would choose the right casket, and pleaded with me to pros pone my choosing for she feared i would choose wrong. But i could not stand the waiting, i was so eager to marry the beautiful and perfect girl, who was Portia. As i opened the heavy lead casket to find the gorgeous picture of Portia laying inside, i was overwhelmed with happiness. Then i received a ring from Portia, she said it symbolize her and everything that was hers, because now all of that was mine. Everything is going so well, my good luck is unfathomable.

Meeting Shylock...

Today, Antonio and I went to speak with the "Jew" Shylock. So that Antonio could borrow money, using his good name, for my purposes. I would use this money to go and for fill my dreams of courting Portia. Since without the money i would mean nothing to her, for she is beautiful and wealthy, most likely not even win a glance from her in my direction. But with it, i was sure i could steal her heart, then pick the right casket and clam her as my bride. Shylock did lend Antonio 3 thousand ducats, but instead of wanting interest he wanted a pound of flesh from my dear friends breast if he did not pay the money back in time. I am sure the old man has lost his head if he wants interest of that sort from a Christan. I am now able to court Portia, and i am sure that the money will be paid back to Shylock at due time, and nothing will come of this outrageous request. But still i worry, just for the safety of my friend.

Im Bassanio!

I was, and still am, a young gentleman. That took his good fortune for granitite and lived beyond my means. Squandering my money away on trivial material possessions. By the time i had learned of Portia, i had nothing to my name but my friendships. I hold my friends on the highest reguards, they have stuck with me though it all, and i would do anything to please them.
